About Me
My passion for bodybuilding and fitness began after high school, where I played high-level basketball and competed in martial arts. However, like many people, I developed some unhealthy habits when I started university. I found myself eating junk food, partying too much, and gaining weight, which ultimately took a toll on my self-esteem. Up until that point, I hadn’t realized how much I relied on recreational sports to stay in shape, and I knew I had to make a change.
I started going to the gym, focusing on lifting weights and doing cardio with the goal of losing fat, building muscle, and regaining my confidence. Once I started seeing results, I was hooked. Watching my body change week after week became incredibly motivating. But, as with every lifter, I eventually hit a plateau, and my progress slowed. That’s when I started diving deeper into bodybuilding research to discover ways to keep improving.
When I realized how crucial nutrition is for building a physique, I became obsessed with learning everything I could to optimize my diet. Once I applied those new strategies, the results came faster than ever. For the next few years, I immersed myself in fitness, but I began to miss the competitive aspect of sports. The only thing that felt aligned with my new passion was competing in bodybuilding shows.
Although I didn’t win my first show, the experience fueled my determination to one day stand as the last man on stage. In 2021, I earned my IFBB professional status at the Canadian Nationals, a major milestone in my journey. This achievement further motivated me to expand my knowledge, so I took courses on training and nutrition and sought mentorship from top-level bodybuilding coaches to learn their methods for peaking competitive athletes. My desire to fully immerse myself in the fitness world also led me to become a personal trainer at a local gym.
After working as a personal trainer for seven years, I launched my online coaching business, Morganmac Nutrition, with the goal of helping more people achieve their fitness and physique goals. I also wanted to coach fellow competitors through their journeys. Since starting Morganmac Nutrition, I’ve worked with over 500 lifestyle clients and guided more than 60 physique athletes to the competition stage.
Through every challenge, bodybuilding has taught me that consistency, discipline, and patience are the keys to success—not just in fitness but in life. Whether it’s coaching clients, preparing athletes, or pursuing my own goals, I remain committed to continuous improvement and pushing the limits of what I can achieve. I believe that the pursuit of a better version of yourself is endless, and I’m grateful to be on this journey while helping others along the way.
